Potluck! Demo

Potluck! is a short 2D narrative game by Fanaar Rashid about personal stories connected to food. Through small, intimate moments and memories, the game explores how certain dishes can create connection between people and act as a thread back to a sense of home. Inspired by personal experiences, Potluck! reflects on the emotional relationship between food, culture, and family.

The player experiences two different perspectives, each tied to a specific dish and centered around the relationship between food and one’s mother. Through cooking, conversation, and memory, Potluck! explores the emotional meaning food can carry across generations.

Potluck! is still in development, so the current demo may contain bugs, rough edges, and ongoing UX iterations. The original soundtrack and sound design is currently being developed in collaboration with Music & Technology students Daphne de Block and Dimitris Papadopoulos.
